The Manufacture F.P.Journe organised its ladies’ golf competition on the Geneva Golf Club course.
This new edition took place under the sun. In a warm atmosphere, the women golfers competed under the 4-ball Stableford formula, the principle of which is to convert the score of each hole into points in relation to the par.
The participants were able to contemplate the élégante by F.P.Journe Collection in the Clubhouse. Unveiled in 2014, this watchmaking concept combining tradition and technical innovations has aroused growing interest among lovers of fine mechanical watches. This intelligent watch initially designed for women has a very long battery autonomy of 8 to 18 years depending on its daily use. The élégante watch has the power to stop time and restart it by means of a mechanical movement detector visible on the dial at 4:30. After 35 minutes of immobility, the watch goes into standby to save energy and the hands stop turning while the microprocessor continues to count the time. When the élégante watch is in motion again, it automatically resets itself to the correct time by the shortest route. Over the years, the élégante by F.P.Journe Collection has welcomed new versions, including the “oversized” model with a 48 mm Titanium or Titalyt case, suitable for both men and women.
Gathered on the terrace in front of hole 9, the players shared a cocktail and discovered the winners of this competition. Tony Tankov, Director of the F.P.Journe Boutique in Geneva, rewarded the winners in the different categories:
